While I was walking to the train station last night, I saw people selling Obama items everywhere. I did not see one McCain. This was all before Obama was elected President.

While everyone is thinking about voting...I'm trying to figure out where the closest Ben and Jerry's ice cream store is. I think I saw one around 42nd street or something. I'm gonna take a trip there tomorrow. What? I'm going to be outside anyway...might as well make myself useful. I need to find out who else is giving away free stuff tomorrow.

Krispy Kreme is in on the action too. I'm too tired. I'm just going to go to Cold Stone Creamery and beg for a spoonful. They were giving away ice cream a month or two ago and I forget to get mine. I wonder if they would still give me, if I cry?

Rosette Stone

On my quest to learn Chinese, I'm thinking of trying out the software Rosette Stone after seeing Michael Phelps in a commercial. I couldn't care less about the swimmer, he can barely speak English as it is; but maybe it will be a good idea. My friend speaks Chinese. If I get the software, it will be easier for her to teach me. I plan to learn Chinese within the next five years. I hope to be able to carry a conversation in five years.

HD FEST short films

My friend and I attended the HD Fest yesterday and had fun. There were a few short films that I enjoyed. I think before I focus on making feature films, I am going to do five to ten short films to start off with. I have some already written, I just need to shoot them. Here are some of the films we enjoyed.

Hallo Panda Directed by Benjamin Blaine, UK

An unromantic comedy about a man and a talking bear. Mark is an American in London for the culture of drinking. Panda is a Chinese bear, here to mate with a female he can't bare. Trapped and lonely, they become friends. Mark loves Sarah, Sarah only loves moths, and if Panda won't mate, Mark will have to give him a hand...
