Is trust important?

Do you think a relationship can maintain quality and longevity when mutual trust is not present?

  • Trust. Such a simple word yet so many outreaches and value. In all matter being logic, a relationship can be held together by desperation and fear of losing one another thus ending up alone; but that can only go on for so long. No relationship can be healthily maintained without trust. I believe that trust is the solid foundation for advancement in any form of relationship, and people aren't lying when they say that you have to trust someone to really love them. The problem is that people don't realize the value of trust and they just throw it around. You don't just trust someone because they make you feel comfortable to do so, you must accept and make good use of the gift of time. It can either make you or break you. My suggestion? Be wise and let time help strengthen you. Then comes wisdom. That's the place where questioning trust is no longer an option.

  • That is true. Most relationship do not run on trust, they run on lust.

  • There is no relationship if there is not trust.
