Pitching a show

I want to get a job writing for a TV show by next year, so I have two options. Make short Webisodes and get discovered or write a spec TV show and join a fellowship. I am going to try to do both. I've never watched the Gossip Girls nor do I want to. I am going to do research about the show. I am going to read a transcript and try to write a spec on the show and send it to TV studios to read. The hardest part will be to sit through a whole episode of the show. I am not looking forward to it, but I want to become rich by 2010.
