Super 8 adventure over
Super 8 adventure over
I am now the proud owner of two Super 8 movie cameras. They should be here in a few weeks, I can't wait to hold them in my hands and film some footage. One is sound and the other is without sound. Both are suppose to be working and they look sexy as hell. I can't wait to look like a filmmaker, shooting them. Anyone who holds an super 8 should be taken seriously.

Ebay super 8 movie camera almost mine...
Ebay super 8 movie camera almost mine...
So we are on the 2 hour mark and the Canon 814XL super 8 movie camera is almost mine. I am crossing my fingers and checking my ebay page periodically. I also found a second camera to add to my collection. I've spoken to the seller and was told if no one bids on it by tomorrow, I can buy it. I am excited. Looks like soon, I might have two great super 8 cameras. I'm not going to spend thousands for the new cameras when I can get an old that is cute and works just as well. I just have to make sure that I can transfer all my film to digital and DVDs. I am excited and happy that I found these cameras. My camera, the Canon814XL is in John Legend's music video "PDA(We just don't care)"...go check it out. I saw a camera like the second one I am going to get on Christina Aguilera's new music video "Keeps getting better".
Bidding War!
Bidding War!

I just had a bidding war on ebay for a Canon 814 XL. So far I am the highest bidder. I am not paying over $100 for the camera. It is used and has scratches but I want it to practice my shooting on. I hope I get it. If the bid goes over $100, I'm going to leave it because I was already told I shouldn't even be spending that much on one of these cameras because they are old. That is what I like about the camera. The fact that it's vintage and it's cool looking. I love the way old movies were shot and I want to teach myself how to use old cameras. If I win this camera, I will buy film and start shooting as soon as possible. I am excited about shooting black and whites, silent and
old film.
